Surviving Dachau, Liberating Mauthausen

This video is videoconference recording of a presentation shared on October 18, 2005, at the International Cultural Center of Texas Tech University. Mrs. Eva Hance is a survivor of the Dachau Concentration Camp, and Mr. Mark A. Geeslin, United States Army, 11th Armored Division, was a Liberator of Mauthausen Concentration Camp. Both Mrs. Hance and Mr. Geeslin gave presentations to K-12 students who traveled to the Texas Tech International Cultural Center, and to students who attended the presentation via distance learning / videoconferencing connections provided through Education Service Center Region 17, the Texas Tech College of Education, and Texas Tech University Video Services. For more background, see the March 2006 post, "Value of life, forgiveness, the Holocaust."
